This is an awesome painting Todd! I used to buy Dragon Magazin back in the day, in France. It's fun to see that you and Dave worked for it. I didn't know that!
Good job, Todd. Way to finally come out of the artistic closet and post some free-lance work. It's not like we didn't already know, anyway. Doesn't it feel better to have it all out in the open now?
What blog is this? It had become part of my daily routine to click on the link to your blog and find the same thing. When I got here I thought, "Hey - somebody screwed up my links."
It's nice to see some more stuff. All of it's great, Todd. I look forward to the next update in early 2009.
Your updates are perhaps not very frequent but it's worth it to wait! It's an amazing painting and I especially like the way you handle the girl's armour...
Great stuff! I love the rock, how the detail goes away when it needs to. Really nice work. I see that you've added me to your links bar, I must say that I smiled like a fanboy when I noticed. I'll return the favor happily! Looking forward to more goodness.
The only thing I'm worried about is, if Todd thought he could get away with one drawing for three months, how long do we have to wait now that he's posted several?

ReplyDeleteSweeet. I love how you treat the metal, and how you are selectively using the "canvas" texture.

ReplyDeletepost away...your art inspires me!
This is cool Todd. It's pretty unique, in a way, to the stuff I usually associate with your art. Very nice!

ReplyDeleteHoly Crap!!! An update! Like I'm one to talk. Todd, you are brilliant, that is why I hate you. I'm kidding, you know I love you.
