So, did these "technical challenges" you were dealing with have anything at all to do with forgetting your password? Todd, I think this guy is one of my favorite pieces of concept art, ever.
This gater is a lovely character concept you have here! It's very exaggerated but it's still works, and the painting style gives it an even nicer look to it.
I was just wondering as a concept artists, do you always paint your concepts out? When I look at the concept work for animations it's usually sketches, but when I see all the work from Avalanche it's all very painterly.
Though I'm an amateur with colours I love to paint when I have time. The style the workers at Avalanche have an awesome style. I hope I can put some of that in my own digital paintings one day!
Funny! I love the thickness of him, his eyes too are very... looney. Makes his character even more fun to look at. Somehow being savagely eaten by a gator that looks like he does doesn't seem quite so scary. Neeeed mooore...
At last.... ;)
ReplyDeleteAlmost a dragon, I approve! Furthermore this gator is fantastic :) And what a pretty red coat ^^ Very nice work!
Yeah! Todd is back!!
ReplyDeleteFantastic gator! Clearly well fed. There such cool and magical stuff going on here in the shadow colors and reflected light.
